Growing Organics Group
UPDATE: Due to COVID-19, the Growing Organics monthly meetings are on hiatus until further notice.
Growing Organics, a chapter of Ten Rivers Food Web, meets monthly in and around Corvallis, Oregon. From May through October, we meet outside at organic farms and chapter members’ gardens to learn from other gardeners. From November through April—the cooler and wetter months—we continue to learn through indoor presentations and other indoor educational events. Meetings always include an organic vegetarian potluck meal; please bring a dish to share and your own plate and utensils. If you don’t want to participate in the potluck simply arrive about 1/2 hour later than the stated start time.
We are always hungry for new members and ideas to spread organic understanding and practices. Our members have all levels of experience in organic gardening and all are welcome. As a member, you will get the opportunity to participate in our meetings and events. Best of all, you are likely to expand your horizons and make wonderful new friends!
There is no cost to attend our meetings. Donations to support the work of Ten Rivers Food Web are always welcome!

Where and when do we meet?
- May through October we meet at 6:30 pm outdoors around Corvallis…maybe even in your garden?
- November through April we meet at 5:30 pm in the meeting room of the First Alternative Natural Foods Co-op south store at 1007 SE 3rd St, Corvallis
- Meeting locations and times are sent out through our listserv and posted to our Facebook page.
