The second Community Food Land Trust (CFLT) informational meeting will be held at Mary's River Grange Hall Saturday, March 11th, from 3 - 5pm. Please join us to discuss Ten Rivers Food Web's latest project, expanding our mission to, "hold food land in perpetuity within a public benefit land trust".
The CFLT will provide new farmers affordable access to food production land as well as a direct means for the local community to support and enhance a durable food system.
This is a project that will interest retiring farmers, homestead land holders, and people who have retired from some other career and are "retired new farmers". Also, Beginning Farmers (BF's) who are seeking land, and others who would like to see this project for a durable food future succeed.
